Fundamental Democratic Principles, Citizen Deliberation, and Deliberative Democracy: You will explore the principles of democracy, equality, human rights, free and fair elections, accountability, transparency, the rule of law, and citizen participation. Additionally, you will learn about citizen deliberation, its five conditions (information, substantive balance, diversity, conscientiousness, and equal consideration), and different democratic theories.
